As a volunteer for Hive of Hope, I supported ongoing digital outreach, event promotion, and website event coordination across the organization’s website and Facebook page. My role focused on maintaining event visibility, coordinating promotional content, and supporting consistent communication for recurring programs, volunteer opportunities, and community events.
Hive of Hope already had an established logo, branding direction, and Wix website in place. My contributions focused specifically on digital outreach support, event publishing, and promotional coordination rather than overall brand or website development.
Responsibilities included website event updates, Facebook promotion scheduling, recurring event communication, and support for community outreach initiatives.

Approach
1. Website Event Coordination
I maintained and updated event information on the Hive of Hope Wix website to ensure accurate and current community-facing event communication.
This included:
- Updating recurring monthly events
- Posting volunteer opportunities and special event announcements
- Coordinating timing between website and Facebook updates
- Supporting visibility for recovery-focused programming and community outreach initiatives
While I occasionally provided recommendations for content organization, the website’s overall branding and design structure were managed independently outside of my primary responsibilities.


2. Social Media Promotion & Scheduling
I coordinated and scheduled Facebook promotional posts leading up to events to support visibility, attendance, and community engagement.
Promotional support included:
- Monthly hikes
- Recovery brunches
- Fresh Taste events

- Monthly movie nights
- Sober camping trips
- Memorial Day BBQs
- Chili Cook-Off fundraiser
- Volunteer events supporting the City Mission
